Fish Extender Terms & Conditions
As of August 1st 2023 fish extenders will not be able to be purchased from Thymble Thyme until approximately March 2024. This page is a record of the Terms and Conditions of the product, which were originally described on the fish extender product webpage.
We do not do any further customisation than what is described below, or any customisation on request.

Please read the following information carefully.
Many cruises now have gift exchanges run by the attendees. This is a fun way to meet fellow cruise travellers and have some extra enjoyment before you even go on your cruise. Gift exchanges with fish extenders are organized prior to departure on social media apps, so please ensure you have opted into a fish extender experience before purchasing this item.

Each of our fish extenders is sewn for ease of rolling or folding into luggage. A wooden rod is enclosed by Velcro to the banner holding your pockets, and a cord is threaded through the wooden rod for hanging the product. While on the cruise, the fish extender hangs from the fish extender knob(s) located beside your cabin door.
Extenders come in a variety of sizes and styles of personalization. Please select your fish extender carefully as once payment is made we will be unable to change your order.
- It is recommended that there be 1 pocket per participant. For example: if you have a family of 4, but only 3 people participating in the fish extender experience, purchase a fish extender with 3 pockets.
- We have a maximum of 4 pockets per fish extender, as any more may be too heavy once gifts are placed inside. If you have more than 4 participants, you could purchase multiple fish extenders to spread them out (ie: if you have 6 participants, you can purchase 2 fish extenders, with 3 pockets. You can then hang these on either side of your cabin door).
- We can personalise the top of the extender with either your family name, or with 1 or 2 first names. Any more names adhered to the extender tend to be unreadable from a distance, and we want your fellow fish extenders to find you with ease!
- You may purchase a blank fish extender if you wish to personalise it yourself.
Once you have purchased your fish extender, your final step will be to include any personalisation details in an email to me. Please go to the contact page of our website and send us a direct email with your personalisation choice.
Dimensions of pockets is approximately 16cm(H) by 19cm(W) by 6cm(D).
Width of the banner holding pockets is approximately 21cm. Length of the product varies with the amount of pockets selected- starts at approximately 40cm and can reach up to 120cm.
**The characters which appear on the fish extender are randomised, as we cut the fabric in the most sustainable way as possible, leaving very little waste. We cannot guarantee which characters will appear on the pockets of your fish extender.
***If the name/family name you have requested is between 1 and 6 characters we will print said name in capital letters (example = SOPHIA or JAMES or SMITH). If the name/family name is 7 or more characters we may be required to print the name with a capital at the beginning and lower case for the remaining letters. This is so the name fits and is kept as large as possible for ease of reading (example = Isabella or Harrison or Thompson)
